VZ Fitness has proudly served Eldorado, Illinois, and the surrounding community since opening our doors on January 1, 2009. Founded and owned by Eric VanZant, VZ Fitness is a family-owned and operated small business built on the belief that fitness should be welcoming, accessible, and affordable for everyone. For more than 17 years, we’ve been proud to grow alongside our community while continuing to offer fair-priced memberships and amenities that set us apart from other gyms in the area. In addition to a wide variety of fitness equipment, our members can enjoy tanning beds and our sauna, which was added in 2023. At VZ Fitness, we’re more than just a place to work out—we’re a local family business that values our members, supports our community, and works hard to provide a comfortable place where everyone can feel welcome while reaching their fitness goals.

Cydnee Burtis
Cydnee is Eric's youngest daughter. You will find her 11am - 7pm Monday - Friday & Saturday's 10am - 12pm. Weather you're looking to start a new membership, wanting to tan, have questions about your account, or simply need assistance during your visit, she is happy to help. As part of the family she takes pride in helping our members feel welcomed and taken care of!

Gary is Eric's dad. He has assisted Eric in running the gym since day one. He has opened the gym every day and worked the 8am - 10am shift. you will find him almost every morning, usually with a vacuum in his hand. Eric couldn't have done it without him. Gary can assist you with memberships, tanning or showing you around the gym!
